Iscairia is located in Marina di Ascea, between Paestum and Palinuro Cilento National Park and Vallo di Diano, Unesco World Heritage site in the shadow of the ancient archaeological site of Elea-Velia, on the banks of the beautiful sea sang by Virgil, blue flag today.
Iscairia is Fariello's family to offer their guests "moments of happiness" in the big house, family farm, located at the foot of a city magno-Greek 6° c. BC, in the green countryside in the Cilento, 900 metres from the blue sea sung by Virgilio and blue flag, in rosa archaeological excavations of Elea Velia.
The structure that houses was born the middle of Iscairia twentieth century as an industry for the production of mattresses. The current country house is an original idea of recovery of industrial archaeology. Have been preserved the essential and functional lines of the structure created with commercial purposes, adding refinements that make cosy and pleasant living for discerning tourists. The stencil decorations on the walls, the names of the muses and precious stones given to every room make architecture less severe.
Guests can rest in the shade of the orchard, retreat in the cool of the gazebo or relax in the original Garden Grove.
Exceptional gastronomic treasures of Cilento, enhanced by the scent of Earth and sea. The tradition and genuineness of products can be found in the recipes proposed by the House, beginning with breakfast with homemade jams, biscuits, cakes, juices and fruit and goat yogurt and butter of bufala.
In the evenings, upon request, you can enjoy the many delicacies cooked in wood-fired oven: starting from the bread, pizza with chicory, Zucchini parmigiana. To get the goat cheeses (steamed on the grill) to "Soppressata di Gioi", culminating in dishes of ancient origins as the "fig-leaf Squid" or the "zeppole're alici" or the "' mbottunato" kid, seasoned with extra-virgin olive oil and accompanied by local wine. Iscairia offers only products of own production, organic certification, proposed according to old recipes and traditions respecting the seasons.
