The farm Terra di Elea is a small island of peace in the heart of a beloved land inhabited for millennium by many peoples, including the Greeks who left important traces of their wonderful civilization. But there is much more. The farm Terra di Elea, in fact, in the municipality of Ascea - near places like Paestum, Castellabate, Pollica-Acciaroli, Palinuro, with their beaches, crystal clear sea and the lush natural environment, all tourist destinations of extraordinary charm - is situated on a fertile plain near which the Greeks from Focea, exiled from their land, and after a long and legendary pilgrimage in the Mediterraneo, they stopped to set up in 535 AD the city of Elea (Velia after the arrival of the Romans). The farm Terra di Elea is in fact situated in the locality of Ascea Crutch (Ta = Ampela area of vineyards) in the area that was part of the so-called chora tissue, where the Phoenicians introduced the cultivation of the vine. The farm is family-run and uses ancient farming techniques and eco-sustainable. The company produces olives and olive oil, variety of fruit and vegetables, fruit trees, forage and corn.
